the holidays!

So, I head North tomorrow morning to begin my Christmas-New Year's journeys.  First stop is Atlantic City (of course).  Accompanying me on the trip this time will be Chris, the lender I've mentioned before.  He's not really a player, but have a feeling that he'll do okay.  We're taking his car and he'll leave either late tomorrow or early on Wednesday.  I'll feed my poker appetite until the wee hours of Thursday, and then head to the AC bus terminal to catch a bus to Manahawkin.  My grandparents will pick me up there on the way to my parents.  At my parents' house already is my brother and his wife and kid, and my aunt and uncle and cousin are coming later, so it should be an okay time...although filled with the normal tensions that come with family (my brother has done some questionable things of late that have left me a bit angry/hurt, so we'll see how that plays out).  Anyway, from the 24th-27th, Sara and I will pretty much have my parents to ourselves, until we leave to come back home, regroup, and then jump on a plane to Texas, revisiting Sara's dad and family.  After who-knows-what happens there, we come back home on the 3rd of January, so Sara can get back to medical school, and I can get back to real estate (Spring market coming around, thank God), plus poker.

Well, that's really it...too much to do before I leave early tomorrow to really wax philosophical about anything.  Merry Christmas to everyone!

Peace,
Greg
